Why do I ask for contributions?
I was doubtful about the idea of asking for contributions. I finally decided (November 09) to publish this page because I think that with the money provided from contributions, PhoTransEdit could improve in quality, and especially in availability, with the money provided from contributions.
I prefer to keep PhoTransEdit as a free download tool. Therefore, the only way I found to afford the improvements is by asking for small contributions (many small rivers can make a big river).
How will your contribution be used?
Here is a list of things that I think can help PhoTransEdit to improve:
Buy some books and get some training on phonetics that I wouldn't buy for my own interest. Remember that I'm a student of English. I don't master English nor Phonetics. Therefore, the more I learn, the better PhoTransEdit will work.
Who should NOT contribute to PhoTransEdit?
Those who don't use PhoTransEdit or think it is not useful.
Those who are short of money.
Those who don't feel like contributing.
Those who have sent me mails with comments, suggestions, corrections, mistakes, congratulations. You've already done enough. Thank you very much.
Those who have added a link to PhoTransEdit in their site, published post on PhoTransEdit, etc. Thank you very much.
How can you make a contribution?
If you have a major credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) or PayPal account, contributing is easy. Click this button to get started.
If you don't have much money. Can you still help?

Does PhoTransEdit need your contribution?
To be honest, your contribution is not essential. As long as I have fun developing PhoTransEdit, I'll keep working on it, with or without your contributions. However, your contributions will help to improve PhoTransEdit in quality and availability.
What will you get in exchange for your contribution?
Just my most sincere thanks. You won't get anything better than those who don't make contributions. Remember that PhoTransEdit is available as a free download and is, therefore, not a supported product.
Why to buy a domain?
Buying a domain would allow me to host PhoTransEdit web page with any hosting company without changing the web page URL.
Why to buy a web hosting?
I'm using a free hosting for PhoTransEdit web page and another free hosting to upload the PhoTransEdit installation programme. Free hosting causes some problems:
Usually you cannot upload/store big files. For example, PhoTransEdit installation programme cannot be stored in the server where I host my web page (ya.com).
Many free file hostings are banned in some countries. For example, sendspaces.com, the free file hosting where I store PhoTransEdit installation programme, is banned in China.
Sometimes you have to try several times before being able to download the installation programme. You are sometimes invited to pay for a 'Premium', 'Platinum',... service.
Free hostings usually add advertisements, banners or pop-ups.
No technical support. When I had problem with the hosting, I didn't receive any solution.
Why do I want to buy Wise Installation Express?
I'm confident that this software can help to fix the problems some people have found during or after PhoTransEdit installation. The main errors people have found are:
System error &H8007007E (-2147024770). The specified module could not be found.
Error 1931 during installation. PhoTransEdit can't be launched.
