DSP-PERCUSSIO is a duo formed by Ivan Herranz & Vicent Gómez, percussionist and electronic computer performer respectively. Dsp-Percussio was created in 2005, after severall collaborations among Their members, with the vocation of exploring the sonorous possibilities that offer both the percussion and the musical electronics in a same space-temporary dimension.
The repertoire played by Dsp-Percussio allows us an approximation to different styles of the contemporary music: percussion soloist and with electronics, improvisation, manipulation and sonorous diffusion in real time, interaction between the musician and the computer, acusmatic music, visual arts, etc. Definitely, we look for a meeting point between the musician and the technology always at the service of music.
