Liphe4

LIPHE4 is a non profit scientific association dealing with the development and application of innovative approaches and analytical tools. It aims at a participatory quality control of the selection and discussion on relevant scenarios and strategies for sustainable development. It is composed by a wide range of researchers from agroecologists to economists, biologists, geographers, sociologists and anthropologists.
We focus mainly in a series of Summer Schools on Integrated and Participatory Analysis of Scenarios of Sustainability. The first edition, the Summer Workshop on Participatory Integrated assessment of Sustainability, was held in August 20-27, 2004, in Deutschlandsberg, Austria. The 2nd edition, the Summer School on Developing Toolkits on Integrated and Participatory Analyses of Sustainability was held in July 17th-23rd, 2005, at the CEMACAM, in Sangonera la Verde, Murcia, Spain.
The third edition repeated venue in July 16th-22nd 2006. The fourth edition was held in May 21st-31st in Kohn Kaen, Thailand, whilethe fifth edition was held in Barcelona in 2008. This series of schools is oriented to both young researchers at pre- or post-doctoral level as well as to government officials dealing with environmental management.More information here.
