NWBL 2009 Un año más la liga australiana se convierte en la cita estival para buena parte de los mejores jugadores del mundo que un año más hacen de la competición de las antípodas un atractivo campeonato para pasar el mono veraniego. A pesar del hándicap de contar con una dura competencia como la Americas Cup, el mundial junior o la preparación del campeonato de Europa por parte de algunas selecciones, la temporada regular no ha decepcionado y se presentan unas series finales apasionantes. Los Perth Wheelcats de Shaun Norris se presentan como el equipo favorito para revalidar el título por cuarto año consecutivo, pero tendrán una dura competencia para ello.
