The search of forms is very present in the plastic work of Jordi Gratacós, SOCO. This is precisely why he so often uses all kinds of materials for the creation of his relieves. He either pastes materials directly onto the canvas (or paper) or highlights the shadows. This search for tridimensionality is almost always a way of attempting to reproduce sculptures that otherwise would be impossible to make. Another characteristic of his paintings is the blend of relativism through drawing.
