After fifteen years playing and teaching music I have recovered my
real vocation, painting and drawing. I started painting early, when
I was a little child and at that time I was awarded for it. More later
I had the great chance to learn with a great famous world comic drawer
and illustrator, Vicente Segrelles, who lives in my town, and the author
of "The Mercenary". With him I learnt the main master lines
for drawing and painting; the rest I learnt by myself.
I start painting mainly seascapes, figures, and comic. At now I'm fascinated
for the anatomy and the nude woman. I've been trying catching the power
of the sensuality and the essence of woman in my paints, nude woman
it's pure poetry talk for it self if you see it with artistic eyes (you
must see the real inner essence and the soul of things, that's it values
for all artistic activities: photography, poetry, sculpture, music...).
If you can do that you could see one of the most beautiful creations
of the universe.
I think there are very much things in common between music and painting:
harmony, rhythm, chromatics, improvisation, passion, abstraction, beauty,
etc. When I'm painting I imagine myself hearing sounds, each colour
has their own sound, when I'm playing it seems I can see also colours
and images
(and I'm not under cannabis effects ;-) ).
Here in my town there are very good painters, at their side I feel
like a begginer but I've got the great luck to have them beside me.
Feel free to email me.
