I stayed in this hotel for several weeks in May 2006.
The price was about 138 yuan for a standard room and the staff were very friendly.
It is quite new (2004) and nice and clean.  It is located next to the Pearl Plaza Tour Mall.
High speed Internet in some rooms (ask if you want it).

If you go there please tell them you saw this page on the Internet. They will
remember me as the man from Spain who was crazy about computers and the Internet.
I told them they would benefit greatly by having a web page and email but the manager
was not convinced.  They do not realize the importance of having a presence on the WWW.
So tell them you found their hotel on line and give them my regards.

Friendly and helpful staff at the reception desk.

I should mention that Chinese beds are hard by western standards.
As I was sleeping on the comforter, rather than under it, this was not a problem.

The Wei Yue Hotel in Foshan is next to the Pearl Plaza Tour Mall also known as Eastern Plaza.

The hotel entrance is between two restaurants which, in the evenings,
set up their tables in the sidewalk and the area is full of life.
It is right next to a big shopping mall where you can find anything
you need and there are plenty of all types of restaurants in the area.
