alex lee projects After Suede's split in 2003 Alex Lee produced and played on the first solo album of his old Strangelove pal Patrick Duff called "Luxury Problems" released on June 2005 on Harvest-EMI Records. Alex and Patrick did a gig together on December 2003 featuring a Strangelove restrospective and later Alex has been touring with Patrick around the world including some gigs on the Womad Festival in Australia and New Zealand. He was working on the studio with ex-Cocteau Twin Elizabeth Fraser, welsh rappers Goldie Lookin Chain and OSKAR. Alex toured with Placebo in 2006 and 2007, playing keyboards and guitar on stage. He has been touring with Goldfrapp and also played guitar on Goldfrapp's 2008 album 'Seventh Tree'. Alex has composed music for TV and films including Channel 4's documentary series 'Alone In The Wild' Recently he's been working on Patrick Duff's second album 'The Mad Straight Road' playing musical saw.
