'Sharleen Spiteri's' new single 'All The Times I Cried' is out now and the single includes the b-side 'When Did You Leave Heaven' which was co-written and co-produced by Bernard Butler.
Sharleen's debut album 'Melody' (out on july 14th) includes the song 'It Was You' which was also co-written and co-produced by Bernard.

'Cut Off You Hands' new single 'Expectations' produced by Bernard Butler is set to be released on july 21st. The album 'You And I' will be released later on the year.

Tricky's new single co-written and co-produced by Bernard Butler is out next monday June 30th through Domino Records. Click here to watch the video.

Tricky's new album 'Knowle West Boy' with guitars, instrumentation, 12 tracks co-produced and 10 tracks co-written by Bernard will be released on July 7th.

Bernard appeared at a 'Black Kids' show at ULU, London on june 18th playing guitar on 'I'm Not Gonna Teach Your Boyfriend How To Dance With You'.

Bernard has been working on 'Duke Special' forthcoming album which will be out around christmas.

Bernard along with other artists has provided a piece of artwork for 'Edwyn Collins' forthcoming single 'Home Again'.

Bernard has just finished the production and mixing of 'Cut Off Your Hands' debut album called 'You And I' which will be released later on the year.

Bernard is now producing '1990s' second album.

Bernard Butler is working with 'Duffy' again on a cover version of a song called 'Please Stay' for a film about the pioneering English producer and songwriter Joe Meek called 'Telstar'.

'Black Kids' new single 'Hurricane Jane' produced by Bernard Butler will be released on June 23rd. It also has been confirmed that their debut album 'Partie Traumatic' produced by Bernard Butler too will be released on july 7th.

Bernard has revealed on his official forum he's been writing and recording with Sharleen Spiteri (Texas) last week and he's going to enter the studio again with 'Cut Off Your Hands' next week.

A live recording of 'Rockferry' featuring Duffy and Bernard played at the Later show in november will be released on january 28th on a doble cd called 'The very best of later... with Jools Holland'.

Duffy's debut album 'Rockferry' will be released on March 3rd.
Bernard Butler has co-written, produced and played 4 songs for the album: 'Rockferry', 'Serious', 'Syrup and Honey' and 'Distant Dreamer'. He also played guitar on the tracks 'Warwick Avenue', 'Delayed Devotion' and 'Hanging On Too Long'.

There's a video on Youtube of 'Duffy' and Bernard recording a song called 'Syrup & Honey' at Edwyn Collins' West Heath Studios. Bernard has been co-writing and producing Duffy's debut album but there's no release date yet.

The cover of the Libertines 'Don't Look Back Into The Sun' by 'The View' produced by Bernard Butler for the Radio 1 40th anniversary compilation 'Radio 1. Established 1967' will be released on 1st October. The song was aired for the first time yesterday at the Scott Mills Show.

Noel Hogan & Richard Walter's project 'Mono Band' is now renamed as 'Arkitekt' and their ep called 'Black Hair' co-produced and mixed by Bernard Butler will be released on 29th October.

After the 2 gigs scheduled with Bert Jansch and Beth Orton at the Manchester International Festival on July 13th and at the Somerset House in London on the 14th Bernard will be recording with The View a cover of "don't look back into the sun" by the libertines for a radio 1 compilation and later will be working with Cajun Dance Party.

''It's Just Love', the single from swedish artist 'Sofia Talvik' featuring Bernard Butler on vocals is now available for download on the shop at Sofia's web site.

Update: Bernard states at his official forum that "an mp3 demo which it was mutually agreed would not be used has been released without my consent or any legal release permission ....there has been no response from sofia talvik about this..... i have no doubt that the karma police will catch up with this one if my lawyer doesnt get there first."

There's a 1 minute preview of Bernard's duet with swedish singer Sofia Talvik at her website (check out the player on the right). The song, 'It's Just Love', apparently will appear at Sofia's forthcoming album 'Street of Dreams' due to be released by the end of january

"best wishes and thanks for hanging around here last year and supporting the music .... this year i am looking forward to finishing the Tricky album which i think is going to be great. Tomorrow im off to rehearse with Cajun Dance Party with whom i should be doing some recording soon, and next week i go up to Glasgow to start work with Sons & Daughters....also hoping to lig on to 1990s who play at the mean fiddler in london this saturday and i might even try and ambush Bert Jansch's show at the roundhouse on the 12th....thats about the plan for now"

Bernard has confirmed on his official forum he's working on the next Tricky album.

1990s single 'You're Supposed To Be My Friend' produced by Bernard will be released on november 20th through Rough Trade Records. The whole album produced by Bernard will be released early next year.
The Mescalitas single 'Breathe Deeper' also produced by Bernard will be released on december 4th through Rough Trade Records.

Bernard has been working last week producing 'Breathe Deeper', the first single of a band called 'The Mescalitas' for Rough Trade to be released on November. He's still working on the '1990s' debut album and also producing another 'The On-Off's' single. Work with 'Duffy' is still on progress.

Bernard has announced on his website he's started to work again in the studio with 1990s to produce their debut album. Bernard already produced a new version of 1990's song called "You're Supposed to Be My Friend" which is going to be the next single of this band.

Bernard has announced on his website he's in the studio producing a scottish band called 1990s for Rough Trade Records. He's also still working with 'Duffy', 'Richard Walters' album and also with Noel Hogan's (The Cranberries) project called 'Monoband' where Richard Walters is the singer too. Nathan Fisher and Mako Sakamoto from The Tears are also playing on this project.

Probably Bernard will be producing another 'The On-Offs' single for this summer.

'Back Down', the song Bernard wrote for Chrissy Hynde back in 1998 is finally released on the disc 4 of the new 'Pretenders' box set called 'Pirate Radio'.
Bernard also co-produced and played acoustic guitar on this song.

Bernard produced the last 'The Cribs' single 'You're Gonna Lose Us' released on December through Wichita Recordings.

He also has been working in the studio producing and playing with a welsh singer called 'Duffy'. A demo of a song called 'Rockferry' was aired on the BBC last December.

Another Bernard production features an Oxford singer/songwriter called 'Richard Walters'. You can hear Bernard's work with Richard on a demo called 'Matress Fire' at Richard Walter's MySpace site.

Bernard has been working these days with a new band called 'The On-Off's' producing their forthcoming single 'Wrong Upstairs' which will be released in June.
