In 2004 Neil Codling worked on Pearl's solo album (which never was released) and he also appeared on stage playing bass at the Infinity Club in London as part of Pearl's band.

On December 12th 2004 Neil played a free gig at The Spitz in London. He played acoustic guitar and keyboards while a girl called Harriet Cawley was singing. The duo was called 'Barry O'Neil'.

Later on May 11th 2005 Neil and Harriet appeared again at The Betsey Trotwood in London.

Neil toured Europe in October - November 2005 playing keyboards and guitar on Natalie Imbruglia's band.

He has also joined Brett Anderson's live band for a couple of shows in Germany in april 2007.

In 2008 Neil did the soundtrack to a play at London's "Theatre 503" called "Songs of Grace and Redemption" by John Donnelly.
