simon gilbert projects When Suede finished the 2003 UK Tour, Simon went to Thailand (where he resides now). He started to put together a film about Suede with his own recordings and he's been in talks with Mike Christie who made Suede's 'Introducing the Band' video. Simon is still working on the project and has upload on YouTube a few outtakes from his personal archives. By the end of 2004 Simon started jamming with a Thailandese based band called 'Futon' and later he joined them as an official member playing drums and has been recording and touring with them (including gigs in the UK and Europe). Simon released with Futon an album called 'Love Bites' in the summer of 2005 and another one called 'Pain Killer' in the summer of 2007. |
