WE Group Help Forum

The WE Group Help Forum is a 'question and answer' database of problems and solutions. All members should become familiar with using this forum. To reduce the 'trouble-shooting' time spent in classes, please check this forum for possible answers to your query before bringing problems to the classes. Has anyone else has had a similar problem? Does the solution resolve your query?

Guidelines for using the Help forum:

  1. Select an appropriate Category - this is important - if every topic is posted under General it makes solutions difficult and tedious to find and manage.
  2. Enter a brief Topic Title.
  3. Keep the help request to ONE subject, even if it means posting several topics.
  4. State the problem clearly and concisely in numeric points.
  5. The first point must be the Program and Version number you are using (eg Outlook Express 6). If you are not sure of the version number then open the program, click on Help - About. The version number and details will be displayed.
  6. The reply will be posted on the Help Forum and you will receive an email informing you that a response has been made.
  7. Return to the forum and click on the Help Topic Title to read the response.

Each of us can reply to the Help request by clicking on REPLY on the message, thus creating a sequence of messages relating to the topic. This sequence of messages is called a thread and can be continued until the problem has been resolved and the thread closed (by the administrator).

There is a HELP facility on the Forum explaining how to use it.

Members will also be expected to research their problem by using the Windows HELP facility on their computer, the course work notes or the Internet.
